It was great to interview Elaine, the owner of five vacation rental properties located in Pompano Beach, Florida. Her properties were all representative of Authentic Florida and within two walkable blocks from the beach.
I toured five of Elaine’s properties including Cottages by the Ocean, Bahama Beach Club, Pineapple Place, Pelican Place and Sunny Place.
Sunny Place is right on A-1-A and it’s a nice, quiet Triplex rental property with a studio, one and two bedroom rental unit.
During my time with Elaine I toured her properties which were so clean. As a member of the http://www.SuperiorSmallLodgingAssn.com these properties are evaluated by an independent company each year for their cleanliness. Top rated properties that adhere to these rigid standards are eligible for the prestigious “White Glove Awards.”
We have to say “Congrats” to Elaine as an award-winner for such meticulously maintained properties.Elaine’s properties have been proud “White Glove Award” Winners.
For vacationers and locals, the new Pompano Beach parking garage makes it much more enjoyable to spend a few hours or the whole day at the beach without having to worry about finding a metered parking spot along the street. The other great thing about a parking garage is the ability to keep your car out of the sun and inside the garage unless it’s really full and you have to park on the roof-top level.
Pompano has spent money for Art in Public Places and the theme here is definitely the Pompano. It was so much fun to make a video posing next to this yellow-polka-dot painted Pompano which was placed on display right near the beach. It was very windy that day so you’ll see the wind blowing and my dress going with it if you watch the video.
On Sunday morning I was impressed to see so many Yoga enthusiasts participating in a beachfront hour-long class on their yoga mats. It was like a sea of yogis all lined up and participating.
There’s so much more to do in Pompano than in years past and the city has spent the dollars to upgrade facilities from parking to recreation. For those who would like to bike ride you can rent bikes right at the beachfront. Pompano has fishing, food and entertainment from casual and reasonably priced to fancier and upscale- your choice. You can easily go from hot dogs and beers to an evening of fresh seafood and steak, dancing and dining.
One cool fact about Elaine is that she has a website that promote “dance” vacations too. Her motto is “Beach by day.Dance by Night.” You can find out about many of the places to dance in South Florida from Miami to West Palm Beach on Elaine’s website which is above and beyond her beach vacation rentals. Of course she wants to you to stay in one of her properties while you’re here and it doesn’t matter if it’s a few days or a few months. http://www.FloridaDanceVacations.com
For my readers who love to dance and want a few tips here goes: If you go north of Pompano to Deerfield there’s City Pub with live music for ballroom and Latin style dancing on Saturday nights. In Boca Raton, The Pavillion Grille is a hot spot for dining and dancing most nights of the week except Monday. You definitely should check the schedule as they do book this entire venue for events such as Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs and so those nights there is not dancing for the public.
